Giveaway - win a months free advertising!

Would you like to win a feature all about your work and a months free advertising on this blog, just like November's lucky winner? Entry details are at the end of this post.

The winner of the November advertising Spot is...

Emma's photo's are a really fascinating eclectic mix, but all of them are technically excellent and use very powerful imagery, perfect for adorning your walls.  For me photography is more than just a record of a time or a place it is the art of capturing a concept or a feeling.  "A Gentle Freak Out" by Emma below, is one of my personal favourites, so simple and yet it describes perfectly a feeling of loss of control and confusion - I can almost feel my head pounding, this would be a perfect image for the office wall!  It's available from both her Folksy and Etsy shops.  Emma is very open about her struggles with depression and I think her breadth of experience in this area really adds an edge to her images.

"I fell down the rabbit hole many years ago (clinical depression) but just like Alice I stumbled on a world of creativity, nonsense and wonder. Unlike Alice I'm not quite as keen to get home! Aside from all the photography, I'm also a full-time mummy and part-time street actor."

Here is a selection of Emma's other photographs, there are 50 plus to browse through in her shops and I thoroughly recommend you take a look - a print can make an excellent gift for a loved one and Emma's strong images can speak a thousand words.  Emma has let me know today that she is running a promotion at the moment, until Dec 1st for a free 7x5" or 5x5" of the buyer's choice with EVERY single 10x8" sold - none of the one-per-transaction high street-type nonsense, either, she tells me! So it looks like now is the time to snap one of these prints up.  For more about Emma take a look at her blog and her Flickr photos.
